The Gentle Giant

This is Essam our gentle giant, he is Captain Hassan’s younger brother and what is also a surprise to many is that Essam is also a fully qualified ship’s Captain for both sail and cruise boats, he also speaks very good English just like his big bro Captain Hassan. You may think that we are being a bit over cautious always travelling with two very qualified ship’s Captains, we like to think of it as an additional safety feature and as they say “you can’t have too much of a good thing”!  Captain Essam is also our Chief Engineer and is responsible for the smooth running of all the onboard equipment. An easy way recognise Captain Essam is that when everyone is in matching uniform Captain Essam will be wearing his own comfortable trousers!
