"We had the most wonderful time aboard the Princess Donia, we did the Luxor to Aswan trip and I don't think it'll be a trip we will forget. I would recommend this beautiful boat and its incredible crew to anyone wishing to enjoy the beauty of the Nile. Captain Hassan and his brother Issam sail the beautiful boat with incredible expertise. Captain Hassan ensured every step of our trip was perfect and what we wanted. Chef Mohammed was incredible serving up delicious feasts for every meal."

"If you want a generic Nile cruise with average food in large boats being herded about like sheep - there are plenty to choose from. But Princess Donia gives you a peaceful relaxing cruise stopping at all the major sites between Aswan and Luxor. Captain Hassan organises all the details for you - it's completely stress-free. Chef Mohammed lays on a gourmet meal twice a day. The boat itself is really beautiful - it's a bit like stepping into an Agatha Christie novel - wooden floors, old fashioned loungers, art deco en suite cabins - absolutely gorgeous."

"A beautiful boat with super clean facilities and too generous portions of really great food! Captain Hassan and his team are wonderfully kind & do everything they can to make your experience on their boat memorable. There maybe newer more fancy Dahabiyas out there now but the heart of the Donia makes it the place to be when on the Nile. Fair pricing too. I wouldn't hesitate to book again. The suite is also very nice, huge private balcony and a perfect place to see the play music, sunset, and feel at absolute peace."
